Lal Kitab is basically a book of astrology that presents a different story of Vedic astrology in different ways. It is composed mainly in Urdu words and not in Sanskrit verses. According to Vedic astrology, each house in Lal Kitab is considered to be a permanent Jupiter and all astrological calculations are based on that. In this, Aries sign in the first house, Taurus sign in the second house, and so on, 12 houses are arranged and the result is calculated on the basis of the position factor of each planet in each house. The specialty of Lal Kitab is that such remedies have been mentioned in it which are very easy in the form of sorcery and by doing these remedies of Lal Kitab, the common man can get rid of these defects.
In Vedic astrology, every house has its own definite nature, but this is not found in Lal Kitab. Here Aries is situated in the first house like Kaalpurush Kundli and thus in the twelfth house, there are signs of Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn and Aquarius, and Pisces. Now, since Mars is the lord of Aries, then the confirmed house of Mars will be considered the first house. The fourth house of the Moon will be considered the permanent home of the Moon. Similarly, the ninth house is considered to be the permanent house of Jupiter and the tenth and eleventh house of Saturn.
According to Lal Kitab's horoscope, if a planet is not aspecting any other planet, then such a planet is called a sleeping planet or a sleeping planet. But if a planet is its permanent house, then it will not be considered as a sleeping planet or in a state of sleep. That is, the effect of that planet will be considered limited to the house in which it is located, not beyond that. If there is no planet in a Lal Kitab Kundli house and it is empty and no other planet is aspecting it, then that house or a sleeping house will be considered to be sleeping. It is believed that unless the house is woken up by adopting certain measures, there is no effect related to the sleeping position in the house.
